Loose Associations Lecture (2002) consists of a talk to slides that draws an intriguing line between seemingly disparate points on a cultural map that includes J.R.R. Tolkien, Inspector Morse, London’s Barbican Centre and Gander’s Aunty Deva. The onestar press artist’s books were conceived as a collection. The collection itself is an ensemble of identical formats, but the contents of the individual editions is unique. Now that onestar has attained 250 plus books it has become a solid reference for the international art scene.
